Hard Currencies

The player will utilize two (2) main currencies: Horde Coin and Human Coin.

Horde Coin: This is primarily for trading/working with supplies and elements that come through the portal. money that can be used to buy from your dimension. Selling human relics that have value to the Horde. Selling followers - but be careful you need them for lots of stuff.

Human Coin: This is used to buy and exchange with Humans. This could include obtaining resources not available from your dimension. money that can be used to buy on Earth. Selling items picked up can be sold on the black market. These guys are after alien tech, the more you sell gets you more money but can backfire.

Planetary Resources /Consumables

Players must gather and process other resources to build tougher armour, faster craft, stronger bases and more. Resources are not just 'rocks' (minerals) or crap found on missions:

Purpose

Dark Crystals & Shards

Horde tech is based on dark crystals, while power cells are their source of power. Crystals are used for growing armour, mutations, computer consoles, transportation, base facilities etc. Early game these are only available from home dimension from achievements on Earth. Mid-game they can buy them from home dimension. Late-game players can grow them in crystal growth chambers.

Alloys

Used in base, item, weapon etc creation. Recovered from missions or smelter in player refineries.

Power Cells (Small /Large)

Bases, ships, weaponry all require power to operate. Horde tech is powered by living energy. A bit of flesh can power a weapon, a limb can operate a shield or teleport you to safety. A kid can power your base for a day. Run out of power, everything stops. If you run out of energy and have followers, they get grinded up for power but has side effects - low level of production, etc and followers become less devout.

Human Followers

Human followers are recruited on missions. They are your slave workforce, food for your staff and breeding. They are essential to your goal of the beachhead.Keep followers inline, happy and producing offspring to power your bases. Collected on missions - from the player influencing them.

Horde Support Workers

These are your workforce. They operate base facilities, handle manufacturing, can go on special tactical missions and much more.

Horde Soldiers (non tactical)

These soldiers guard your bases, keep followers inline and protect your strategic interests. They are not automatically able to go on missions. They require additional training and mutations to survive and fight on the planet.

Human Flesh (Small/Large)

Small amount of human flesh - used for powering weapons, feeding soldiers etc.
