Tactical Soldiers

Soldiers are the player’s workhorse of the game. Soldiers carry out missions which lead to progression and end-game.

With the complex nature of soldiers stats, for ease of understanding there will be 4 key numbers a player will need to know about each soldier:

  • Dexterity is the measure of your weapon precision. It determines whether you could or could not hit a cow’s arse with a banjo. It contributes to your Critical Hit Chance.

  • Constitution is the measure of your survivability. It determines whether you can take a punch from a god, or you can put yourself into a coma from stubbing your toe on a not-even-particularly-well-fed rat. It contributes to your Maximum Health/Ward.

Combat stats - ranged & melee /Strength

Defensive stats - Agility/dodge/ armor / mental strength

Time Units - All actions take up these units. From movement, crouch/prone, turn to face a direction, all attacks etc. Use the old xcom system, not the new one.

  • Time Units - how many actions they can do per turn.

  • Defensive - Defensive strength

  • Offensive - Offensive strength

  • Persuasion - ability to manipulate, convert or outsmart humans
